Each flat has its own cylinder and heating system. Solar panels are grouped together into a shared array, giving higher panel utilization compared to dedicated solar systems. The Cirrus control unit allows circulation into the aparment only if the solar loop is at a temperature high enough to add heat to the hot water cylinder there. Integrated flow balancing components ensure a fair distribution of heat wherever the apartment is in the building.
