Viridian Files Second Patent for its Solar Panel Technology
July 18th 2005, Cambridge, UK. Viridian announces that it has filed a second patent to protect its roof-integrated solar collector design. The patent covers a design of plumbing connection that makes a solar panel significantly easier to install.

Martin Davies, Chairman of Viridian commented "Our focus on making this product easy to work with for the construction industry is producing innovative features, which we are now moving to protect. We expect to apply for further patents as we progress with the design."

Viridian is working with forward looking organisations in the building industry to design a solar hot water system that can be easily included in buildings as they are constructed.
