Viridian announces that it has secured funding to propel the business through to commercial launch of its products. The funding is from private investors and will be used for plant and equipment to manufacture the company's innovative solar water heating product.

The product will transform the attractiveness of this type of renewable energy and allow developers to comply with new planning requirements for renewable energy in the most cost-effective and low risk way. It will be available from January 2007.
