Solar Heating Panels

Clearline panels convert light into heat, which is normally used directly in the building to which the panels are fitted. A heat transfer fluid is pumped through the panels and transfers the heat to a hot water store. While this heat can be used for space heating, the most common use of solar heating is to heat water for washing. For more information on how solar heating works, see the Solar Energy Guide here.

High Performance in a Slimline Package

Clearline solar panels are only 82mm thin, but still achieve an excellent energy performance due to their innovative design.

Clearline PV and Clearline solar heating panels match perfectly and can be installed side by side into the same roof to create a combined solar installation.

Clearline solar panels can be installed integrated into pitched roofs or onto flat roofs. Integrated solar panels have significant benefits for both new build and for retrofitting applications.

A full range of solar plumbing kits are available, together with Symphony twin coil hot water cylinders. Viridian Solar can advise you on any scale of project from 200 m² communal systems to individual homes.



Flat roof intstallation for a communal solar water heating system to two blocks. One is implemented as a centralised communal heating system, the other as a Cirrus system.	Clearline V30 and V20 solar panels integrated into a tiled roof. Panels can be installed either singly or with joined flashing kits in pairs or runs.	This Victorian townhouse was retrofitted with two V15 solar panels as part of a refurbishment.
