PROJECT COMPLETION

January 2020

The Clearline fusion in-roof solar panel system has been installed in a housing project by Nijhuis Bouw BV in the infill site of the Dierenriemstraat Northwest of the centre of the City of Groningen in the North of the Netherlands. This part of the city was due for regeneration, and these new homes with eye-catching brickwork has lifted the area.

This project involves a total of fifteen terraced houses spread over three blocks, a block with eight houses, one with four and a block with three houses. The installation of the Viridian Solar Clearline fusion in-roof solar panels was carried out by Solar-systemen.nl, located in Drachten, on behalf of Lodema Elektrotechniek from Leeuwarden. Viridian Solar provided on-site installation training to ensure a smooth start of this new construction project.

Henri Bergman of Solar-systemen.nl, explains the choice for Clearline fusion:

"The tender document specified Viridian Solar Clearline fusion. The choice was absolutely justified; these in-roof solar panels are of high quality and have a very nice aesthetic, which is an absolute plus of this system for complete roof-integration of solar PV."
