Viridian wins at British Renewable Energy Awards

On Thursday 12th June at the Savoy in London the renewables industry came together to celebrate the UK British Renewable Energy Awards 2014. Viridian Solar was the only company represented in more than one category. The Pod, a new product that transforms the job of retro-installing solar heating was shortlisted in the Innovation category and Viridian Solar's CEO Stuart Elmes was up for Industry Champion for his work to support the wider solar industry.
Viridian Solar won in the Innovation category for the Pod. Judges said that they were impressed with the way it makes solar heating appealing to consumers and with the scale of the opportunity it creates for renewables.
