Viridian Solar and Bloor Homes have extended their National Supply Agreement for the second time. This will see the solar manufacturer's Clearline fusion roof-integrated solar system continue to be installed on all homes built by Bloor where there is a requirement for solar PV.

First signed in March 2018, the cooperation has led to thousands of homes being fitted with roof-integrated solar, helping homeowners to reduce their energy consumption and electricity bills. The latest announcement follows on from Bloor Homes decision in June 2022 to specify the ArcBox Solar Connector Enclosure to enhance the safety of solar on its homes.

Jamie Berryman, Chief Sales Officer at Viridian Solar said:

"It really has been a pleasure working with Bloor Homes for so many years. They were one of the first house builders to get behind Clearline fusion in the early days and to have our third contract signed by them is testament to the product and service we offer. Over the last 4 years we have designed over 74 projects and look forward to carrying on delivering our market leading Clearline fusion PV system along with our meticulous solar design service."

Chris Burton, Group Commercial Director at Bloor Homes said:

"We are happy to be renewing our agreement with Viridian Solar again, we have been using Clearline fusion for many years now and couldn’t be happier with the service that is provided. As demand for solar dramatically increases due to the new Part L building regulations, we wanted to continue to ensure the supply chain remains consistent."
